Itinerary
06:30 AM – Pick-up from Hotel in Kigoma
Your guide picks you up from your hotel for a transfer to the boat dock.
07:00 AM – Boat Ride to the National Park
Depart across Lake Tanganyika.
⏱️ Duration: 1.5–2.5 hours depending on park location.
09:30 AM – Chimpanzee Trekking Begins
After briefing by the park rangers, begin the trek through the forest.
Spot chimpanzees and observe their behavior in the wild.
⏱️ Duration: 2–4 hours depending on chimpanzee location.
01:00 PM – Picnic Lunch
Enjoy a packed lunch in a scenic natural location.
02:00 PM – Optional Activities
Depending on time and location: birdwatching, nature walk, or swimming (in Gombe).
03:30 PM – Return Boat Ride to Kigoma
Head back across Lake Tanganyika and transfer to your hotel.
06:00 PM – End of Tour
Arrive at your hotel in Kigoma. Tour ends.
